TTL Kids! is committed to creating safe, community-minded spaces where Young Makers can develop their ideas, explore methods, and develop confidence as Makers! Each of the following Summer Camps will aim to do just that while having loads of fun!

 

 

Maker Sampler Camp

July 31 – August 4 & August 28 – September 1

30 hours devoted to exploring Maker Culture! What could be better? During this Summer Camp program, Young Makers will explore design principles in the context of 3D modeling, laser cutting, electronics, and woodworking. 

The week will consist of multiple workshops, including a visit from Little Robot Friends, that will work to develop Young Makers’ skills in tool use, design, circuitry, soldering, 3D modeling, and programming. By week’s end, Young Makers will have done it all from building mini boom boxes to designing a solar powered usb power bank (perfect to take camping!).

Suitable for Young Makers age 8+

Pinball Machine – Wired

August 14 – 18

Not only will Young Makers design and build their own tabletop pinball machine, they will program it too!
During this 5-day Summer Camp, Young Makers will spend the mornings learning the basics of wiring, circuitry, and programming. Their afternoons will be spent designing, laser cutting, woodworking, and painting the perfect pinmachine. The end result, a very cool tabletop pinball machine that electronically keeps score! All made by your Young Maker!
